Sorry i've not been posting for a week .Well from 8 to 11 March ,i had my cohort camp in Thailand .It was fun but yeaaaah they were a few fights here and there.But too bad ,everybody fought verbally because of just a small misunderstanding .
Monday 8th March 2010(First Day)
Came back from work ,reach home at 1am in the morning . Packed up everything and went to Eirfan's crib . Accidentally slept at his house because was tired . Woke up at 4am ,sit down and talk about stuffs . 4.30am ,went to pick up Shazlina then went to airport . Said my goodbyes to my uncle then took my first flight . So remember Muhd Safwan ,your first ever flight you have ever taken is to Thailand :D By the way , it's a transit flight from Singapore to Bangkok , Bangkok to Chiang Mai . I think we reached Chiang Mai at around 2pm . Had lunch in a halal Thai restaurant . Ate a big buffet of different kinds of food :) After that ,went touring around the city . blablablaa ... Had dinner and checked in to hotel . After dinner , zzzzzzzzzz -.-
Tuesday 9th March 2010 (Second Day)
Woke up at 5am ,bathed . Watched tv because Eirfan woke me up too early . Watch some kind of classic movie ,was kinda boring in fact . Had a small breakfast ,ate toast with jam & watermelon . After breakfast ,FNN students went to a Thai cookery school , DNT & Art students went to a temple . Well i'm taking FNN so went to the school . Had fun cooking 5 dishes . I remembered i cooking Fried Banana with vanilla ice cream , spring rolls , cashew nuts with chicken[?] & the rest i never cooked . I slacked at one of the empty rooms . But of course the best food i cooked was the Fried Cashew Nuts with Chicken . Even the teachers liked my food :D But the best part ,after cooking one dish ,you get to eat your own dish freely . Then some more got lunch ,was DAMN full after all the tasting & eating . After our lunch ,went to the orphanage . Played some childish games with Sally Sng which i enjoyed -.- Everybody had a mass gathering at the hall and made friends . We played MORE games ,was getting bored by then . Some parts i just walked around in the hall trying to find the toilet to slack :P But too bad the toilet was too far and the toilet was &%$#@! :D Hahaaa ! After all the games ,we exchanged gifts . Gave to all the cute lil children a gift . After that ,we watched them played Sepak Takraw . Singapore VS Thailand ,hahaa Singapore lose :P Our players wearing jeans how to play . Then some of us went to play soccer . After
that ,said our goodbyes . In the evening ,had dinner . After dinner ,we visit their night bazaar . At 10pm we went back to our hotel and turn in .
Wednesday 10th March 2010 (Third Day)
Woke up at 6am ,showered and went to the lobby to meet everyone . We took our bus and had a 1hour bumpy ride to the Elephant Safari . Firstly we went bamboo rafting . It was fun ,but very difficult to row the boat . The best part of bamboo rafting was getting stuck -.- Hahaa ,still remembered one time we were damn stuck and we all decided to go down and pushed the raft together . That is what i called TEAMWORK :P
The funny and sad part is ,when Sharul wanted to get back on the raft . He was stuck between the raft and the stone . The water was also pushing hard ,so everyone came down again and pulled him up . Hahaa ,then we reached the end point :) After bamboo rafting , we watched the Elephant performance . So cool to see elephant painting and playing soccer :D Hahaa ,so cute to see the baby elephant too . Ouhk yeaaah ,i get to feed the elephants and i have a picture of it in my Facebook . Go check it out !~ Ox Cart was our next activity . When i went in the ox cart ,it was scary at first but at last i get the hang of it . It was smelly though ,as they poo anywhere they want . They even peed in front of us . Hahaaa ,then it was the ELEPHANT RIDE !
It was so bumpy and fun ,when it went down the hill we have a weird fun feeling like going down the roller coaster :D Hahaaa ,after that had a big buffet for lunch . Went back to hotel and rest till 6pm then had our dinner . During our resting time ,i bathed and slacked . After dinner ,NIGHT BAZAAR again . Bought lots of things for family . Ouhk yeaaaah ,remembered went i was at one of the shops ,the electric wire on top of us exploded . It was seriously scary . At first i thought it was a bomb but turn out to be that stupid old wire . At that moment of time ,some run and some stoned . Hahaa ! Before i forget ,there's also this people whom we called the frog woman AKA "orang katak" :P They will go around following us and force us to buy thier stuffs . They will even follow us :D At 10pm again ,took bus to hotel and slacked . This part ,i don't want to talk about it . I'll post about this part later . After all that slept .
Thursday 11th March 2010 (Fourth Day)
Woked up at 6am ,bathed ,had breakfast & packed bag . Had leisure time till 11am i think . During leisure time ,went to the nearby shopping mall . So lots of cool things i want to buy but at that moment of time ,i was broke :( Went back hotel ,took
bus to Chiang Mai International Airport and off to Bangkok . Had no mood on that day , i sat alone . Made a retarded face because of last night & because of some problems which i shouldn't tell . So many problems in one time ,i can go crazy . Some of them tried to console me but i said i'm just hungry and tired . I don't know what happen then ,i was having my flashback again . Thinking about my past and all . After that ,took our plane back to Singapore . The flight back to Singapore was seriously sad because at that moment of time ,i started loving Thailand & it's culture . For me ,they are one of the most kind people i've ever seen . Still remembered those orphanage kids ,so cute . Seriously i pity those young ones . I also pitied a girl which Farris gave 10baht to . It was so sad to see this kind of people ,they are much more different then Singapore kids who ask for money . After touch down in Changi Airport ,took Mdm Fazela van and went home with Hairul . After reached home ,played computer for a'while and slept .
